Giving

"Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken
together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the
measure you use, it will be measured to you." (Luke 6:38)
"But I don't have money to spare," you say. Okay, what do you have?
Do you have a skill? Is it possible for you to give some time
–
working right
where you are on your own computer? If you can think of something you'd like
to give, the Lord will find a way to use it. Remember the Christmas carol
"Little Drummer
Boy"? The boy had only his drum and his ability to play. But he gave it
as a gift.
It is true that what we at eDOT are seeking to do costs a great deal of money. And keeping
it going once it is started will not be inexpensive, either. But God made
all the resources, and those He has given to each of us He gave us to use
for His kingdom. So whether you have a skill or talent, time, or funds to
steward, whether you can come over to Europe to join us or must stay where you
are, you have something that God will use to build up His church - if you
will give it to Him.
