Unit 4 The Prophetical Books are normally divided into the Major Prophets and the Minor Prophets. There are five major and twelve Minor Prophets. Lamentations and Jeremiah are usually placed together because the same author wrote them. Daniel is sometimes placed with the Major Prophets as well.
